Jeetendra Kapoor’s Family Sells Prime Mumbai Land for Rs 855 Crore

Veteran Bollywood actor Jeetendra Kapoor and his family have sold a significant land parcel in Mumbai’s Andheri suburb for Rs 855 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards. The transaction, finalized on May 29, 2025, was executed through two family-owned companies, Pantheon Buildcon Private Limited and Tusshar Infra Developers Private Limited, with NTT Global Data Centers and Cloud Infrastructure India Private Limited as the buyer.
The property, spanning 9,664.68 square meters (approximately 2.39 acres), includes the Balaji IT Park, which houses three buildings with a combined built-up area of 45,572.14 square meters (about 4.9 lakh square feet). The deal incurred a stamp duty of Rs 8.69 crore and registration charges of Rs 30,000, as per records from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR).
Located in Andheri, a key commercial and residential hub, the site benefits from excellent connectivity via the Western Express Highway, Link Road, SV Road, and the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro line. The acquisition aligns with NTT’s strategy to expand its data center network in India, driven by growing demand for digital infrastructure.
Jeetendra Kapoor, a prominent figure in Hindi cinema with over 200 films in a career spanning six decades, serves as the promoter and non-executive chairman of Balaji Telefilms, a leading production company managed by his daughter, Ekta Kapoor, who is the Joint Managing Director and Creative Head. His son, Tusshar Kapoor, is also involved in the entertainment industry as an actor and producer.
