Rs 10 Lakh Opening To Rs 291 Crore: ‘Hanuman Ansh’ Is Just Rs 8.6 Crore Away From The Rs 300 Crore Club
Mumbai: Hanuman Ansh Box Office Collection Day 40 What began as an unusually quiet theatrical release has turned into one of the most talked about box-office runs of 2026. The Vishal Chaturvedi directed devotional drama has now crossed rs 291 crore worldwide in 40 days, leaving it just rs 8.60 crore short of the rs 300 crore milestone.
According to figures reported by Sacnilk, Hanuman Ansh collected rs 8.25 crore net in India on Day 40, from 9,175 shows. Its India net collection has reached rs 231.13 crore, while the India gross stands at rs 272.90 crore. The film added another rs 2 crore from overseas markets on Day 40, taking its overseas gross to rs 18.50 crore and worldwide gross to rs 291.40 crore.
The numbers become even more striking when compared with the film’s start. Hanuman Ansh reportedly opened with only rs 10 lakh. Its first week brought in rs 1.08 crore, followed by just rs 40 lakh in the second week. After 14 days, the film had accumulated only rs 1.48 crore.
Then came the turnaround.
The third week added rs 10.4 crore, with Day 17 contributing rs 2.2 crore and Day 19 bringing rs 2.35 crore. The fourth week saw an even bigger surge rs 6.25 crore on Day 22, rs 9.25 crore on Day 23 and a remarkable rs 12.75 crore on Day 24. In fact, Day 24 alone earned more than the movie’s entire first two weeks combined.
The film is a biographical devotional drama based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and inspired by his book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life. Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand feature in the lead roles.
The sustained run has also pushed Hanuman Ansh into comparisons with established Hindi releases. India Today reported that its rs 8.25 crore Day 40 India net was higher than the corresponding Day 40 figures reported for Dhurandhar (rs 2.60 crore), Pathaan (rs 2.55 crore), Chhaava (rs 1.40 crore) and URI: The Surgical Strike (rs 1.38 crore).
With rs 291.40 crore worldwide, the film now has rs 8.60 crore to go before reaching rs 300 crore, making its sixth week theatrical run the latest chapter in an extraordinary box-office turnaround.
