Aishwarya Rai Bachchan returned to the L’Oreal Paris runway for the brand’s Le Defile 2026, presenting a dramatic couture look against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower.
The actress and long-time brand ambassador walked at Place Joffre in Paris on September 28 during the ninth edition of the open-air event. She wore a black velvet gown from Yara Shoemaker’s Fall/Winter 2026-27 couture collection. The sculptural silhouette featured three-dimensional fringe embroidery that moved with her steps, while a sweeping cape trailed behind, embellished with crystals and pearls. A galaxy-inspired degrade effect on the surface allowed the dark fabric to catch the light in shifting flashes.
Accessories continued the celestial theme. A diamond-encrusted crown-like headpiece framed her face, paired with diamond rings and matching pumps. The overall effect built gradually, revealing layers of detail as she moved along the runway.
