Chappell Roan Stuns In Sheer Mugler Gown, The Most Talked-About Look Of The 2026 Grammys

At the 2026 Grammy Awards, singer Chappell Roan turned heads on the red carpet in a daring sheer maroon Mugler gown that left little to the imagination.

The artist appeared in a striking ensemble featuring maroon fabric strategically draped over her frame and held by nipple rings, boldly revealing her figure. The look drew inspiration from Manfred Thierry Mugler’s 1998 Jeu de Paume couture collection and was reimagined for the designer’s Spring/Summer 2026 line by Miguel Castro Freitas. This marked Roan’s second appearance at the prestigious awards ceremony.

The Subway singer, who received two nominations this year, accessorized the revealing gown with a maroon cape as she entered the awards ceremony. Her long red hair was styled cascading over her chest, while body art adorned her bare back. Pony imagery was also visible on her chest, appearing to reference her hit song Pink Pony Club.

Roan previously won Best New Artist at the 2025 ceremony.

Costume Change for Presenter Duties

Later on Sunday night at the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles, Roan underwent a costume change when presenting the Best New Artist Grammy. She appeared on stage in a nude Roman-inspired one-shoulder gown, keeping her signature red hair loose and wearing a necklace.
