BTS’ Suga Reconnects with ARMY in Heartfelt Message After Military Discharge

Min Yoongi, known to fans as Suga, has officially completed his mandatory military service in South Korea, marking the final step in BTS’ long-awaited reunion. The rapper, the last of the seven-member K-pop group to be discharged, shared an emotional message with fans, known as ARMY, on Weverse shortly after his release on June 21, 2025.
In his post, Suga expressed deep gratitude to supporters worldwide, acknowledging the nearly two-year wait since his enlistment in September 2023. “Hello, everyone. Nice to meet you. It’s a SUGA. It’s been about two years. How have you all been?” he wrote, reflecting on the significance of his return. He admitted to missing his fans dearly, noting that the time away allowed him to reflect on his personal journey and the work he has done over the years.
Suga also addressed a challenging moment from his service period, apologizing for a 2024 incident that caused concern among fans and bandmates. “Dear ARMY, thank you for your patience and thank you very much. And I’m sorry for making you disappointed and worried about what happened last year,” he wrote, expressing regret for the distress it caused. He emphasized his commitment to moving forward, promising to repay the love and support he has received.
The rapper concluded his message with optimism, hinting at future plans and his eagerness to reconnect with fans. “We will try our best to repay the love you have given us. I love you. Everyone, I’ll keep you posted from time to time,” he added. His words have sparked excitement among ARMY, who are eagerly anticipating BTS’ full-group comeback, potentially as early as March 2026.
