Filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan, known for her avid interest in the reality show Bigg Boss and her occasional stints as a guest host for Salman Khan, has weighed in on the current season’s frontrunners. As Bigg Boss 19 approaches its finale after months of intense drama and alliances, Khan has singled out actor Gaurav Khanna as the standout performer of the season.
Farah Khan Hints at Gaurav Khanna’s Victory
Khan, who recently appeared on Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, rarely misses an opportunity to discuss the show dynamics. When asked to predict the winner, she initially hesitated, citing her professional proximity to the show. “I don’t know whether I am allowed to say it because I don’t like to say it… because I am so close to Bigg Boss and I go and host it so often that I don’t like to skew opinion in any which way,” she explained.
However, she openly admitted that Khanna is her personal favorite, drawing parallels to her correct prediction of Karan Veer Mehra’s win in the previous season. Khan praised Khanna’s composed demeanor despite being targeted by other housemates. “I feel this time now it is becoming the Gaurav Khanna show. Because everyone is ganging up on him and he is holding his own very well. He is dignified and he is not abusive. He is playing well and that is clearly getting to everyone else who are getting quite toxic,” she stated.
Her comments have since gone viral, with Khanna’s fanbase celebrating the validation from the veteran director.
Bigg Boss Season 19 Finale Approaches
Following the unexpected eliminations of strong contenders like Abhishek Bajaj and Mridul Tiwari, the race for the trophy has narrowed down. The remaining contestants include Khanna, Amaal Malik, Ashnoor Kaur, Farrhana Bhatt, Tanya Mittal, Kunikaa Sadanand, Malti Chahar, and Praneet More.
