As news of the legendary artist’s hospitalization spread, a rare childhood photograph featuring Asha Bhosle alongside her late elder sister, iconic singer Lata Mangeshkar, resurfaced and quickly went viral on social media. The black-and-white image, originally shared by Asha Bhosle on her Instagram handle in February 2022 shortly after Lata Mangeshkar’s passing, captures the two sisters in their early years. In the photo, young Lata appears adorned with a flower clip and earrings while gazing at the camera, as little Asha sits perched on a stool in a collared dress, evoking fond memories of their shared childhood days.
