Many of Ishan Kishan’s fans were surprised after seeing him dressed as a government employee among RBI staff, as they were unaware that he works for the Reserve Bank of India. He holds the post of Assistant Manager at the RBI’s Patna branch. The position is primarily linked to his sporting achievements, especially cricket, but his presence at the office naturally creates excitement and enthusiasm among fellow employees.

Ishan Kishan was appointed as an Assistant Manager at RBI Patna in 2017 under the sports quota. He was just 18 years old at the time and was making a name for himself in domestic cricket. Whenever his busy cricket schedule permits, he visits the RBI office in Patna.

According to reports, the post of Assistant Manager at the RBI is considered prestigious. The basic monthly salary for the position ranges from ₹45,000 to ₹49,000. In addition, employees receive dearness allowance, house rent allowance, and several other government benefits, taking the total monthly salary to around ₹90,000 to ₹1.15 lakh. After statutory deductions, the in-hand monthly salary is estimated to be between ₹75,000 and ₹90,000.
