Surat Court Issues Stay Order On 12 Year Old Boy’s Diksha Ceremony

Surat: Surat court has issued a stay order on the religious diksha ceremony of a 12-year-old boy, following a legal petition filed by his father. The boy, whose parents are separated, was set to undergo diksha in Surat. However, the father, who resides in Indore, approached the court through his lawyer to stop the ceremony.

The case came up for hearing today, with both parents appearing before the court. It has been revealed that the boy has been living with his mother, while the father lives separately in Indore. The couple married in 2008 but are now estranged.

The planned diksha gained public attention after digital invitation cards began circulating on social media. The Surat court has now temporarily stayed the ceremony, and further hearings are expected as the case unfolds.
