Senior LeT Operative Behind Major India Attacks Killed in Pakistan

NEW DELHI: Razaullah Nizamani, a high-ranking Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist also known as Abu Saiullah, was fatally shot by unidentified gunmen in Pakistan’s Sindh province. Nizamani, who was under government-provided security, was attacked near a crossing in Matli, Sindh, shortly after leaving his residence.

Nizamani was a key figure in orchestrating three significant terrorist attacks in India. These included the 2001 assault on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Rampur, the 2005 attack on the Indian Science Congress in Bengaluru, and the 2006 strike targeting the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur.

The killing follows closely on the heels of India’s Operation Sindoor, during which the Indian Armed Forces neutralized nearly 100 terrorists, including prominent figures such as Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf, and Mudasir Ahmed. The operation also involved precision strikes on LeT’s headquarters in Muridke and Jaish-e-Mohammed’s base in Bahawalpur, according to officials.
