Jamnagar: One Dead, One Injured After Two-Wheeler Slips While Avoiding Dog

A tragic incident took place in Jamnagar, where a two-wheeler slipped and collided with a pillar. The accident claimed one life, whereas another person was seriously injured. Police investigation in the matter has begun. Apparently, Mansukh Naranbhai Sitapara and his friend Sanjay Bharatbhai Rathod living in Jawahar Nagar near Hapa railway station, had gone from Jamnagar to Rajkot, and were returning from there on an activa when the accident took place. Suddenly, a dog came in between. In a bid to save the dog, the activa slipped and eventually collided with a pillar.
The friends had gone to attend a religious event (Mataji no Mandwo) in Nyara village and were returning from there, when the accident took place, on May 12. The duo were near Falla, when a dog suddenly came on the road. The activa slipped in order to prevent collision with the dog, due to which the activa collided with a pillar.
As a result of the accident, Sanjay’s head hit the pillar and he suffered serious injuries causing his death. On the other hand, Mansukh was shifted to the GG government hospital for treatment. Upon learning about the incident, Panchkoshi A Division’s ASI DA Rathod and writer Jaysukhbhai Rathod rushed to the spot of the accident as well as to the GG Hospital. Further investigations have begun.
