Amreli: A heart-wrenching incident occurred near Gavadka village in Amreli taluka, where four Youth tragically drowned while bathing in the Shetrunji River. The children reportedly ventured into the river and got caught in deep water, leading to their untimely deaths.
Upon receiving information, teams from Amreli Taluka Police and the fire department rushed to the scene. Rescue operations were immediately launched, and all four bodies were recovered from the river.
Clothes found on the riverbank suggested that the children belonged to the nearby locality. The fire brigade acted promptly in carrying out the retrieval operation. Unfortunately, all four children were declared dead due to drowning. The incident has cast a pall of grief over the entire region, with locals deeply shaken by the tragedy.
