A disturbing new video has surfaced from the day of the Pahalgam terror attack, capturing the terrifying moments as violence unfolded. Recorded unintentionally by a tourist from Ahmedabad, the footage shows chaos breaking out, with tourists falling to the ground after being hit by bullets while trying to escape.
The video begins with a zipline operator shouting “Allahu Akbar” before sending a tourist off on the ride, moments before gunfire erupts in the background.
Tourist Recalls the Incident
Speaking to Times Now, Rishi Bhat, the tourist who recorded the video, shared his account of the incident. He revealed that the same operator had previously sent 7–8 people including Bhat’s wife and child on the ride without uttering any words. However, when it was his turn, the operator chanted “Allahu Akbar” three times while glancing from side to side. Gunshots were heard immediately afterward. Bhat said he only realised the unusual sequence of events once he returned to Ahmedabad and reviewed the footage.
Public Reactions to the Video
The footage has sparked widespread reactions online, with many users questioning the zipline operator’s actions. “It looks like the operator knew something was about to happen,” commented one user.
Another user criticized the tourist’s apparent lack of awareness, stating, “I’m shocked! How could he not hear the gunshots? Maybe his ears were covered? I would have been running for cover. There’s no survival instinct at all.”
A third user noted that the rider might have been unable to hear gunfire due to ear protection and remarked, “This attack was clearly orchestrated with the involvement of local Kashmiri Muslims. The ropeway operator chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’ says a lot.”
