New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his first and fierce reaction to the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, sent a strong message, saying the attackers and conspirators behind the attack will get a punishment beyond their imagination.
The attack, which claimed the lives of 26 people in the Baisaran meadows on the calm afternoon of April 22, was an attack on the soul of India, PM Modi said. “Today, on the soil of Bihar, I say to the whole world, India will identify, trace and punish every terrorist and their backers. We will pursue them to the ends of the Earth. India’s spirit will never be broken by terrorism,” PM Modi said.

PM Modi assured that terrorism will not go unpunished and India will make every effort to ensure justice to the innocent lives lost in the massacre. “Terrorism will not go unpunished. Every effort will be made to make sure that justice is done. The entire nation is one in this resolve. Everyone who believes in humanity is with us…The punishment will be significant and stringent, which these terrorists would have never even thought about..,” he said in a stern warning to the terrorists and their backers who made Pahalgam bleed.
