Punjab Man Arrested for False Death Threat Against Tiger Shroff

Mumbai Police have apprehended a Punjab resident for allegedly fabricating a death threat against Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. The individual, Manish Kumar Sujinder Singh, called the police control room on Sunday, claiming a security firm had paid ₹2 lakh to have the actor killed.

Mumbai Police swiftly investigated the claim and traced the call to Punjab. Finding no evidence to substantiate the threat, authorities deemed it a hoax and arrested Singh. He faces a non-cognizable (NC) complaint under section 351(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for suspected criminal intimidation.

Singh remains in custody while police probe the reasons behind the false alarm, including whether it was a prank or motivated by other factors.
