Meghan Markle’s Phone Number Leaked From School WhatsApp Group; Archie and Lilibet Pulled Out After Just Two Days

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, since returning to the UK, have reportedly been hit by a fresh security scare involving their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The couple has now withdrawn their children from their new school, just two days after they started. Adding to their troubles, Meghan’s personal mobile number was allegedly leaked from a parents’ WhatsApp group linked to the school.
According to The Sun, the Duchess of Sussex had joined the group chat the night before her children’s first day at the UK school. Archie and Lilibet’s school was changed following security concerns.
Following the family’s recent move back to the UK, Meghan and Prince Harry had undergone an official risk assessment. However, recent reports indicate that Meghan’s phone number was leaked within the parents’ WhatsApp chat.
A screengrab shared by the UK outlet showed two mothers welcoming Meghan to the group. “Welcome to Meghan who has Archie joining tomorrow,” one message read.

Responding to the greeting, Markle wrote, “Hi moms! Thanks for the warm welcome. So happy to be a part of this community.”
After she was added to the group, someone circulated a screengrab that included Meghan’s phone number, which has since been shared multiple times.
Despite the excitement around the new start, Prince Harry and Meghan decided to withdraw their children from the school, citing difficulties with transport as well. Archie and Lilibet spent just two days at the school before their parents made the decision to pull them out.
The couple reportedly had no issue with the school itself the concern was purely about security. According to The Mirror, the couple’s decision was not about the institution, but centred on the “practicalities and security” of getting the children to and from school each day, given heavy traffic in the area and the distance between the school and the family home.
Since Meghan and Harry are no longer working members of the Royal Family, they are not provided with government-funded security and have arranged their own protection. The added challenge of the commute is expected to place further pressure on their small private security team. In one incident, the couple’s vehicles reportedly struggled to stay together in convoy, raising an additional safety concern.
A friend of the couple told Hello! that Meghan and Harry had been very fond of the new school. “It was perfect for them in every way, and the children really enjoyed their time there. They really wanted to make it work, but they had to make a difficult decision based on the fact that the team couldn’t make the school run operationally secure,” the friend said.
