On Sunday morning, July 19, 2026, a speeding Porsche lost control of the vehicle and collided with a road divider and another vehicle on Mumbai’s Coastal Road, according to authorities.
The driver of the luxury automobile escaped unharmed because the airbags deployed in time, but a young girl in the other car was hurt in the collision, which happened at 8.30 a.m., according to an official.
According to him, a case has been filed against Vijay Pandey, the driver, under Section 281 (rash or negligent driving) and other pertinent sections of the Motor Vehicles Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
According to the official, preliminary inquiry indicates that the Porsche driver lost control, slamming the car into the divider and colliding with another vehicle.
Days prior, an automobile caught fire inside the Coastal Road tunnel, frightening other drivers. On the afternoon of July 15, a number of cars got stuck behind the burning automobile.
