A new food experiment has taken social media by storm, but not everyone is impressed. A viral video featuring a “Chole Bhature Pizza” has sparked widespread discussion online, with many viewers expressing confusion and disapproval over the unconventional combination. The story was originally reported by NDTV Food.
Food experiments have become increasingly common on social media, where vendors and content creators frequently blend traditional dishes to attract attention. While some innovative combinations gain popularity, others divide opinion.
The latest creation to enter the spotlight is the Chole Bhature Pizza, which combines the North Indian favourite chole bhature with elements of a pizza. According to the viral video shared on X, the dish begins with a freshly fried bhatura spread with green chutney. It is then topped with chole and chopped onions before being baked in an oven, giving it a pizza-like appearance. The creator describes it as a healthier variation of the classic dish. Additional toppings such as capsicum, sweet corn, paneer, cheese, tandoori sauce and mayonnaise can also be added.
Social Media Users React
The video quickly gained traction online, generating a wave of reactions from viewers. While a few appreciated the creativity behind the concept, many users were less enthusiastic.
