Students preparing for CUET-UG 2026 received an important update as the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced revised dates for a few postponed examinations. The exams that were earlier supposed to take place on May 28 will now be held on May 31, June 6, June 7, 2026.
The change comes after the revision of the Bakrid holiday date, which led NTA to rechedule the examination to avoid inconvenience for students appearing in both shifts on May 28.
NTA has informed candidates that fresh admit cards will be issued soon with updated exam dates, shift timings, and centre details. Students are advised to keep checking the official NTA and CUET websites for the latest updates.
CUET- UG is one of the country’s biggest entrance exams for undergraduate admissions to central and several participating universities. The examination is being conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple cities in India.
Many students welcomed the decision, saying the revised schedule will help them appear for the examination without confusion or clashes with festival celebrations. Candidates appearing on the revised dates should download their updated admit cards carefully and verify all details before the exam day.
