Mumbai: Mumbai residents woke up to overcast skies on Wednesday, bringing a slightly pleasant start to the day amid the ongoing summer heat. Despite the cloudy conditions, warm and humid weather is expected to persist in the city over the coming days.
According to weather updates, temperatures are likely to remain high, with humidity levels continuing to make conditions uncomfortable for residents. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated that although cloud cover may provide temporary respite from direct sunlight, there is no major drop in temperature expected at present.
Meanwhile, Mumbai’s air quality remained favourable. The city recorded an overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of 21, placing it in the ‘good’ category. The low AQI reading suggests clean air conditions, making it suitable for outdoor activities without major pollution-related concerns.
As reported by the Free Press Journal, residents can expect a mix of cloudy skies and summer heat through the day, with weather conditions remaining largely stable across the financial capital.
