Krunal Pandya Dismisses Rift Rumours With Brother Hardik

Royal Challengers Bengaluru all-rounder Krunal Pandya has firmly rejected ongoing speculation about a fallout with his brother, Hardik Pandya, stating that there is no tension between them despite persistent rumours circulating on social media.

According to a report, the speculation gained traction during the Indian Premier League 2026, particularly when the two brothers faced each other in a match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Mumbai Indians. Clips of Krunal bowling to Hardik quickly went viral, prompting fans to speculate about a possible rift.

Addressing the rumours during an appearance on an RCB podcast hosted by Danish Sait, Krunal responded with humour. When asked directly whether everything was fine between the two, he laughed off the suggestion of any conflict. Even after repeated questioning, he maintained that there were no issues, simply stating that all was well.

In the same interaction, Krunal also responded to separate claims that he had sledged Lucknow Super Giants player Mukul Choudhary. Clarifying the situation, he explained that his remarks were misinterpreted. He said he was merely engaging in a light-hearted exchange, encouraging the young batter to play bigger shots rather than attempting unconventional strokes. Krunal added that his on-field demeanor is often misunderstood, with people assuming he is serious or aggressive due to his appearance, when in reality he was joking.

The seasoned all-rounder has been a key performer for Bengaluru this season, contributing with both bat and ball. His evolving bowling approach, including the use of bouncers, has caught many batters off guard and strengthened his role in the team.

With RCB enjoying a promising campaign, Krunal is now focused on maintaining his form and aiming for a return to the Indian national side.
