It’s Official ! Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda Set To Tie Knots In ‘VIROSH’ Ceremony

Hyderabad : Actress Rashmika Mandanna has officially announced her upcoming marriage to actor Vijay Deverakonda, dubbing the event as the wedding of “Virosh.” The couple is slated to exchange vows on February 26, as per reports. 

On Sunday, Rashmika shared insights from their wedding invitation via her Instagram story, stating, “Our Dearest loves, before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves, you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name you called us “VIROSH.” So today, with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it “The Wedding of VIROSH”. Thank you for holding us with so much love. You are a part of us always. Biggest hugs and full love.”

“VIROSH” Meaning

In a deeply personal note, Rashmika and Vijay explained that “Virosh” wasn’t crafted by event planners or rooted in traditions. Instead, it was born from their fans- who, long before wedding bells were even a thought, lovingly blended their names into “VIROSH”.

Speculation about Vijay and Rashmika’s relationship has circulated since their collaboration in the 2018 film Geetha Govindam, though they refrained from commenting on it openly.

In October 2025, the pair became engaged. Although neither issued a formal statement, Vijay’s representatives verified the development to Hindustan Times.

Rashmika’s most recent appearance was in the 2025 release The Girlfriend, directed by Rahul Ravindran and co-starring Dheekshith Shetty. She is also lined up for Rawindra Pulle’s Mysaa.

Vijay’s latest project was Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Kingdom, featuring Satyadev and Bhagyashree Borse.
