A Major Collapse for the West Indies: See which tiny nation the Caribbeans lost to!

Sharjah: The T20 series between Nepal and the West Indies began here, and on Saturday Nepal shocked the cricketing world by defeating the two-time T20 World Cup champions West Indies by 19 runs in the first match. This is the first time Nepal has beaten one of the major cricketing nations, creating history.
After being invited to bat first, Nepal scored 148 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. Captain Rohit Paudel top-scored with 38 runs, hitting one six and three fours. Kushal Malla contributed 30 runs with the help of two sixes and two fours, while Gulshan Jha added 22 runs with two sixes.
Despite the presence of several well-known West Indies bowlers, Nepal managed to push its total close to 150 (8/148). Among the Caribbean bowlers were Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, Fabian Allen, and three others. Holder was the most successful, taking four wickets.
Chasing the target, West Indies could only reach 129 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs. Navin Bidaisee top-scored with 22 runs. None of the other batsmen, including Kyle Mayers and Jason Holder, could even cross 20 runs.
For Nepal, spinner Kushal Bhurtel took the most wickets (two), while five other bowlers picked up one wicket each. Two Caribbean batsmen were run out.
Nepal’s captain Rohit Paudel not only scored 38 runs but also took a wicket and a catch. He was awarded the Man of the Match.
