Did a mic exchange happen between Suryakumar and the Pakistani captain, but they still shook hands?

Dubai: With just two days left for the high-voltage Asia Cup clash between India and Pakistan, various side-stories involving players from both teams are going viral. One such moment gaining attention is the light-hearted interaction between India’s captain Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan’s skipper Salman Agha during a press conference held with all tournament captains present.
The league match between India and Pakistan is scheduled for Sunday, September 14, at 8:00 PM IST in Dubai.
During the press conference in Dubai, all the captains were seated on stage. Between Suryakumar and Salman Agha sat Afghanistan’s captain, Rashid Khan. At one point, there was a brief mic exchange between Salman and Suryakumar, moments of which have gone viral on social media.

Some reports claimed that after the press conference, Suryakumar Yadav exited immediately through the back door. Others suggested that Salman Agha avoided shaking hands with Suryakumar.
However, a journalist present at the press conference clarified in the media that Suryakumar and Salman Agha did, in fact, shake hands—though very briefly, hurriedly, and casually. The truth is, as Suryakumar was leaving through the back exit, Salman Agha also moved in that direction, and as they came close to each other, Salman extended a light handshake to Suryakumar.
Several journalists from India attended the press conference in Dubai. Interestingly, there were more journalists from Bangladesh than Pakistan, while the number of Sri Lankan journalists was quite low.
