Ahmedabad: Taxi Driver Allegedly Vandalizes Car Amid Passenger Dispute; Police Begin Probe
Incident Got Captured In Nearby CCTV Camera
In a yet another incident of miscreants causing trouble in the public, a taxi driver allegedly broke the windows of a car near CTM Express Highway. A complaint was registered regarding the matter at the Ramol police station. The incident also got captured in a nearby CCTV camera.
It has been observed in the past as well that taxi drivers behave rudely with passengers near the CTM Express Highway, and are reluctant in letting the passengers commute in their taxis. One such altercation turned violent when a taxi driver, due to an argument with another driver about passengers, broke the windows of a car.
Apparently, the argument took place while taking the passengers to Baroda from the express highway. During which, an enraged taxi driver allegedly vandalized a car. A complaint of the incident has been filed at the Ramol police station. Police have started investigating the matter on the basis of the CCTV footages. A search for the taxi driver is also on.
