
Surat : A horrific incident has taken place in Surat. Three members of the same family have tragically died due to suffocation in Bhatha village of Surat. According to the initial investigation, it is believed that this accident occurred due to suffocation due to smoke from a generator kept running in the house. As soon as the incident was reported, a police convoy and a fire brigade team rushed to the spot and are conducting further investigation.
The three deceased were senior citizens. During the night, the three were sleeping in the room and in the morning, when the family members returned home, they found all three dead. It is suspected that the death was caused by the generator. Pal Police Station Inspector K. L. Gadh said that in the morning, PCR received a call that three people died in Bhata village. There is a cricket ground and a farm here. These people were guarding the farm. For the primary investigation, we came to the spot and while investigation, we found that among the deceased were an old man and two women. The generator was on inside the room and the room was closed. When we opened the door of the room and went inside, there was a strong stench.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that due to the use of the generator, the room was filled with smoke, which caused suffocation and the deaths of these people. Further investigation will be conducted based on the FSL and PM reports. After that, the exact cause of death will also be known. The generator was being used where people were sleeping. There was no space for ventilation in the room, so that the smoke could go out of the room. This is the primary information that has been received so far.
