Pacer Yash Dayal Faces Serious Charges: Career May End in Jail

Ghaziabad – Indian pacer Yash Dayal, who has previously represented Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL, is facing serious legal trouble that could potentially end his cricket career behind bars.
Accused of sexual exploitation by his former girlfriend, Dayal may face up to 10 years in prison under Indian Penal Code provisions.
The 37-year-old cricketer has been charged under Section 69, and according to the preliminary FIR, the alleged victim submitted WhatsApp chat screenshots, video call recordings, and photos as evidence. These materials are currently under police investigation. The nature of the charges is non-bailable.
Dayal’s ex-girlfriend, who claims to have been in a five-year live-in relationship with him, has alleged that he mentally, financially, and physically exploited her on the false promise of marriage. She further claimed that Yash established a physical relationship with her based on this promise.
Following her medical examination and an official statement recorded before a magistrate, police are now preparing to formally begin proceedings, which may lead to Dayal’s arrest.
The complainant is a resident of Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, and stated that Yash’s family also assured her of marriage. She used to frequently visit his home. However, neither Yash nor his family has issued any public statement or reacted on social media regarding the matter.
