Australian cricketer Travis Head couldn’t hold back his frustration with the scorching Barbados heat during a press conference following the first day of the Australia-West Indies Test match. A viral social media clip captured the left-hander muttering, “F***ing, how hot it is in here,” after fielding a reporter’s question, sparking chuckles online.

On a challenging Bridgetown pitch, Head led Australia’s batting with a gritty 59, with only Usman Khawaja (over 40 runs) offering notable support as the visitors were bowled out for 180. Australia’s bowlers fought back, however, with Mitchell Starc claiming two wickets to leave West Indies at 57/4 by stumps.

Reflecting on the tough batting conditions, Head, quoted by Perth Now, said: “You always want to adapt to the conditions as best you can. We’re up against quality attacks, so on another day, you hope to push through. We’ve got another chance tomorrow to play well and position ourselves to win.”
