Window Seats & Nostalgia: India’s Players Tells Emotional Train Memories En Route to Leeds Test | WATCH

As Team India journeys to Leeds for their June 20 Test series opener against England at Headingley, players shared nostalgic train memories in a BCCI-released video documenting their rail commute.
All-rounder Shardul Thakur contrasted his current comfortable window seat with past Mumbai local train experiences: “There’s a direct train from my house. I’d walk minutes, take locals to practice and back that’s my train memory. This is definitely easier than that hustle.”
Wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel recalled childhood scenery from his father’s postings: “When young, my father always took the window seat in Dharamshala journeys so I could enjoy mountain views. Those beautiful scenes excited me.”
Batter Sai Sudharsan revealed his early cricket connection: “As a boy, I only traveled by train for U-12/U-14 camps to Chepauk.”
