
Following the deadly Air India plane crash, rescue operations have been started with immediate effect. In addition, relief operations are also going on in full swing. A high-level investigation is now underway into the crash of the Air India flight, involving a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Boeing has dispatched a specialized technical team to the city to assist with the probe and determine what led to the catastrophic event.

To ensure a swift and smooth investigation, the scene has been sealed completely. At the same time, the DGP Gujarat Police has also appealed to the people to not come at the crash site unnecessarily. In an X post, the DGP thanked the volunteers and local people for their efforts, who immediately joined in the relief and rescue operations post the crash. He added that the entire area had been cordoned and sealed for quick and easy collection of evidence for purposes of investigation. He appealed to the people not to go near the crash site.
It is necessary that the people do not roam around on or at the crash site. It would ensure that any possible evidence does not get tampered. In the post, the DGP has tagged Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel along with Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi.
On the other hand, Harsh Sanghavi mentioned that the belongings of the deceased recovered from the crash site will be collected carefully and will be documented. After which, they will be handed over to the deceased’s kin. Their team is working in order to find and identify belongings of the deceased, he added.

He also stated that they are coordinating with the Civil Aviation Department for smooth functioning of the investigation. The Home Minister concluded by stating that they understand the emotional significance of the belongings, and are dedicated to return them to the deceased’s families as early as possible.
