A horrific accident took place on Ahmedabad-Indore highway on June 1. A speeding car hit a biker and eventually rammed into a parked truck. The accident claimed one life, whereas 3 others were injured. The police registered a case and started investigations, whereas the injured were shifted to the hospital.
The accident took place near the Chandial village of Kanbha, on the Ahmedabad-Indore highway. Apparently, 4 friends were on the way from Indore to Ahmedabad to attend the opening ceremony of an ice-cream parlor. They started early in the morning from Indore. Around noon, near Kanbha, the car, moving at a high speed, rammed into a truck which was parked on the side of the road. The car also hit a biker before ramming straight into the truck.
Due to the accident, one of the passengers in the car who was sitting on the back seat died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Rajju Gaud. The three others who were present in the car got injured. They have been identified as Ajay Rajput, Rahul Rajput, and Pushpak Yadav. The car was being driven by Pushpak, who became unconscious due to the accident.
The incident got captured in a CCTV camera. Meanwhile, the injured were taken out from the car by nearby people who had gathered there. The friends were visiting Ahmedabad to attend the opening ceremony of Pushpak’s ice-cream shop. Kanbha Police registered a case and initiated investigations. The injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
Road and highway accidents are increasing in the state day by day. This sparks concerns about the driving ability and awareness of the drivers. In such cases, people in the surroundings are also at danger, as they are dragged into the accident without any involvement, like the biker in this case.
