“Pakistan Treats Terrorism Like Tourism”: PM Modi Talks About Pakistan And Development In Kutch

Bhuj: On his two-day visit to Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public gathering in Bhuj, Kutch, this evening after inaugurating 33 development projects valued at ₹53,414 crore. He spoke about the region’s growth, India’s counter-terrorism efforts under Operation Sindoor, and shared strong remarks on Pakistan’s situation.

“People of Pakistan must come forward to rid their country of the disease of terrorism”, PM Modi said. “The youth of Pakistan must decide whether this path is right for them. Are their lives getting any better? Is the future of Pakistan’s children secure on this path? To free Pakistan from the disease of terrorism, its citizens must take the lead. Live a life of peace and dignity,  if you don’t want to earn your bread, remember, we have bullets ready”, he shared.

He continued, “India’s fight is against cross-border terrorism. Our enemy is the one who nurtures terrorism. From the soil of Kutch, I want to ask the people of Pakistan , what have you achieved? India has become the fourth-largest economy in the world. What is your condition? Who forced you to wander in hardship? The masterminds of terrorism did. Citizens of Pakistan, especially the children, listen carefully,  your government and army are supporting terrorism. For them, terrorism has become a source of income.”

Referring to past conflicts, he said, “Back in 1971, they thought attacking Bhuj airbase would bring them success. But our women set an example of bravery. Our military’s courage and our zero-tolerance policy toward terrorism forced Pakistan to surrender. Operation Sindoor has made this policy even clearer , anyone who tries to spill Indian blood will be answered in their own language. No one who threatens India will be spared. Operation Sindoor is a mission to protect humanity and end terrorism.”

“Pakistan treats terrorism like tourism”

“Pakistan is a country that treats terrorism like tourism, and this is a serious threat to the world. People in Kutch know, earlier, whenever a CM or minister came from Gandhinagar, their speech would begin and end with Pakistan. But in 2001, I decided not to waste time on that. I chose to focus on Kutch’s strength. And Kutch has developed so much that even Pakistan would be envious.”

“After being blessed by the people of Gujarat, I went to Delhi. On May 26, 2014, I took oath as the Prime Minister for the first time. With your blessings, today marks 11 years of service, and coincidentally, it’s May 26 again. At that time, India ranked 11th in the global economy. Today, we are in 4th place.”

Call to celebrate Beach Festival along with Rann Utsav

He proposed, “When Rann Utsav is held, beach competitions should also take place here. Beach games are gaining popularity. I want people from across India to come to Mandvi Beach and enjoy a beach festival during Rann Utsav. I’m ready to provide all necessary support.”
