Armed Robbers Loot Tanishq Showroom in Bihar, Injure Two and Steal 25 Crore in Jewellery

Bihar : A shocking incident has came to the light of a incident occurred i Biha.The armed robbers on Monday stormed a Tanishq showroom in Bihar’s Arrah and looted the jewellery worth crores. The robbers had overpowered staff at the gunpoint, locked he shutter and held the employees hostage for 30 minutes before fleeing with valuables. The whole incident has been caught on the CCTV installed inside the showroom, has gone viral on social media platforms.

The robbery had took place at the GOpali Chowk branch in Arrah police station area. The store manager said,” There were eight-nine robbers, and claimed that police had not responded on time despite calling them multiple times. An SIT has been formed under SSP Parichay Kumar.Bihar police said that they have arrested two accused involved in the robbery and recovered the armed like pistols, 10 cartridges, looted jewellery and a motorcycle from the robbers.

It is yet not clear if the police have recovered all the stolen jewellery. The bhojpur police stated that” Six suspicious persons riding three motorcycles were seen going from Ara-Babura towards Dorganj. After chasing for some distance, the criminals fired at the police. The policemen retaliated, injuring two criminals who were shot neat their feet,”. So far the robbers have looted 25 crore jewellery apart from the cash. A team is said to be formed to arrest the remaining accused, said the police.
