Russia’s Massive Strike Kills 13 in Ukraine’s Deadliest Raid

Russian military forces conducted their most extensive airborne offensive of the conflict during nighttime hours, deploying a combined total of 367 unmanned aircraft and projectiles against multiple Ukrainian population centers.
The unprecedented bombardment resulted in 13 fatalities, with three minors among the casualties in Zhytomyr, while numerous others sustained injuries from attacks spanning Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Ternopil, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Ukrainian defense systems successfully intercepted 266 unmanned aerial vehicles and 45 projectiles, though significant destruction occurred across residential complexes and critical infrastructure throughout the targeted areas.
The capital city of Kyiv recorded 11 wounded individuals, while the Khmelnytskyi region suffered four confirmed deaths from the assault. This large-scale offensive came after Russian forces had previously launched a substantial strike on Friday, deploying both unmanned aircraft and ballistic projectiles against Kyiv.
