
Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Gujarat on May 26th, marking his first visit since “Operation Sindoor.” His itinerary includes a roadshow in Vadodara at 10 AM, followed by events in Bhuj at 2 PM, and a grand roadshow in Ahmedabad at 6:30 PM. Preparations are in full swing across all three cities.
Security Heightened in Vadodara
Upon news of PM Modi’s visit to Vadodara on May 26th, the local administration immediately initiated preparations. With this being the Prime Minister’s first visit to Vadodara after “Operation Sindoor,” extensive arrangements are underway for his roadshow from the old airport to the Air Force gate. This includes tree trimming around the old airport, electrical repairs by the power company, and increased activity from administrative officials and security agencies.

Infrastructure Upgrades: Painting, Repairs, and Lighting
To welcome the Prime Minister, footpaths are being painted, roads are undergoing repairs, and lighting is being installed. The old airport building is also being repainted. Tight police security is evident at the airport, and the SPG and Police Commissioner have already conducted inspections. While the Airport Authority has declined to comment on the matter, a Divya Bhaskar team observed the administration actively working on the Prime Minister’s likely route.
Ahmedabad Route to Showcase Tiranga, BrahMos, and Rafale Tableaux
In Ahmedabad, a grand roadshow will be held from the airport to Indira Bridge at 6:30 PM. A large number of people are expected to participate to celebrate the success of “Operation Sindoor.” BJP City President Prerak Shah announced that the entire route for the Prime Minister’s Ahmedabad roadshow will be adorned with “Tiranga” flags. Tableaux featuring the BrahMos missile and Rafale aircraft will also be displayed, and patriotic songs will play along the route.
19 Stages Along the Route
Shah further stated that people will be present with banners to evoke a sense of patriotism in light of “Operation Sindoor’s” success. Various religious and social organizations will join the roadshow. Nineteen small and large stages will be set up where people will honor the Indian Army.
Families of Martyrs and Ex-Servicemen to Attend
Significantly, families of soldiers who sacrificed for the nation and ex-servicemen, along with their families, will also be present at the roadshow. Banners and hoardings celebrating the success of “Operation Sindoor” will be displayed throughout Ahmedabad. The city BJP unit, Municipal Corporation, and police department have commenced preparations for the roadshow.
BJP Sets Target for Mobilization
For the Prime Minister’s roadshow, all BJP corporators and the city organization have arranged AMTS buses to bring people from every area. A target of bringing 100 to 150 people from each ward has been set. City BJP President Prerak Shah, along with MLAs, city organization office bearers, Municipal Corporation officials, and administrative officers, have initiated preparations for the roadshow.
Bhuj Prepares for Grand Welcome with 10,000 Women
In Bhuj, preparations are in full swing for the Prime Minister’s roadshow and public meeting at 2 PM. Before the PM’s arrival, intense preparations have begun in Bhuj. On the evening of May 26th, PM Modi will hold a 1.5-kilometer roadshow from Bhuj Airport to the public meeting venue. Approximately 10,000 women, adorned in saffron sarees and vermilion on their foreheads, will welcome PM Modi. On this occasion, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone and e-dedicate 31 projects worth 52,000 crores in Kutch.
War-Footing Clean-up on College Road
Currently, all types of work are being carried out in Bhuj city, the district headquarters, in anticipation of PM Modi’s arrival. Cleaning operations are underway on a war footing on College Road, from Jubilee Circle to the public meeting venue. The surrounding footpaths are being cleaned and beautified. Additionally, cleaning drives are ongoing on all roads leading to the public meeting venue.
Special Wooden Structured Floor Under Construction
Near Mirjapar Highway, opposite the Time Square complex, five gigantic waterproof domes are being erected, capable of accommodating over one lakh people. Around one thousand laborers are setting up various arrangements there. A special wooden structured floor is being constructed in the initial seating area, 500 meters in front of the stage. Along with this, plastic coverings are being installed one after another to create the dome roof. After the completion of the roof and floor work, carpets will be laid in the entire meeting marquee. Trucks carrying materials have already started arriving.
High-voltage microphone and speaker systems, along with fans for the public attending the meeting, have been installed. To ensure adequate power supply, the electricity department is setting up three large transformers opposite the meeting venue. Barricades have already been placed on the highway near the meeting venue to control traffic.
For the Prime Minister’s roadshow, organized on the 1.5 km stretch from the airport to Prince Residency, iron barricades have been erected on one side of the road, while materials for barricades are stored on the other side. The roadshow is scheduled to take place after 3 PM. A public meeting will be held a short distance from here. Bhuj city is currently getting ready to welcome the Prime Minister. Welcome banners are being put up at various places along the main road.
