Shots Fired at Kapil Sharma’s Cafe in Canada; Khalistani Terrorist Likely Involved | VIDEO

Surrey: Kapil Sharma’s recently opened Kap’s Cafe in Surrey, British Columbia, was targeted in a late-night shooting on Wednesday, with unidentified gunmen firing at the building, according to PTI. Harjeet Singh Laddi, a wanted terrorist associated with the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and listed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), claimed responsibility for the attack.Sources told PTI that Laddi pointed to a past remark by Sharma as the motive behind the incident.

The attackers, who arrived by car, fled the scene immediately after the shooting. No injuries were reported.Authorities are still investigating whether Kap’s Cafe was the primary target or if the attack was intended as a threat against the comedian. 

Meanwhile, Sharma’s popular Kapil Sharma Show Season 3 premiered on Netflix on June 21, featuring guests like Salman Khan in the debut episode, the Metro In Dino cast in the second, and Indian cricketers in the third. The upcoming fourth episode, set to air this Saturday, will showcase OTT stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma, Pratik Gandhi, and Jeetendra Kumar.
