INDvsAUS ODI: Indian cricketers’ flight reached Perth at 4 a.m. — find out what troubles they faced

New Delhi/Perth: With barely two days left for India’s first ODI against Australia, the Men in Blue faced several hassles before arriving in Australia mainly due to a significant delay in their flight.

The players left their New Delhi hotel early Wednesday morning and reached the airport. Their flight landed in Perth around 4 a.m. on Thursday, after which they checked into their hotel. Reports said the flight was delayed by about four hours, which also led to rescheduling during their stopover in Singapore.

Who arrived in the first batch?

The first batch of Indian players reached Perth around 4 a.m. on Thursday. The group included Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, captain Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harshit Rana, and Prasidh Krishna, along with members of the support staff.

Since this is Virat and Rohit’s first series after the Champions Trophy in March, fans are eagerly waiting to see their performance.

The second batch, which arrived later, included head coach Gautam Gambhir, spinner Kuldeep Yadav, all-rounder Axar Patel, bowling coach Morne Morkel, and other members of the support staff.
