At a fuel station in Delhi on Wednesday, a truck’s CNG cylinder exploded while it was being filled, resulting in three fatalities and three injuries. The event occured near the Tikri Kalan Metro Station in Delhi. The CNG pump’s employees were among the dead.
Manish, a resident of West Delhi’s Baba Haridas Colony, has been identified as one of the deceased victims. He was twenty-five.
The three injured people are in critical condition, according to DCP Outer Delhi.
He said that Manish was killed in the collision while filling the truck’s CNG cylinder. He instantly passed away. After being admitted to the hospital, two more people passed away from their wounds.
Large teams of police and fire people were observed deploying in the vicinity.
The six people who were standing close to the explosion and were hurt were sent to a local hospital for treatment, according to a fire department officer.
Six fire trucks were sent to the scene after the Delhi Fire Service received a call about the incident at 3:37 p.m.
An investigation is in progress to determine the precise cause of the explosion.
According to a fire department officer, the incident sparked panic in the vicinity. At the scene, firefighters took the necessary safety precautions. He claimed the matter is now under control.
