The civic body has revealed ticket costs and exclusive arrangements for Flower Show 2026, including designated VIP hours.

Entry fees and exclusive viewing hours revealed

Visitors aged 12 and above will pay ₹80 for admission during weekdays, while weekend and holiday tickets are priced at ₹100.

Following the pattern of earlier editions, exclusive VIP slots have been designated. Those choosing VIP access can explore the exhibition from 8:00 am to 9:00 am or 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with separate tickets available at ₹500.

‘India – A Saga’ concept to celebrate culture and traditions

The upcoming Flower Show will display floral artworks and structures representing Indian celebrations, traditional dance styles, legendary tales, significant infrastructure initiatives, athletic themes, a children’s area, and upcoming development blueprints.

Visitors will be greeted by two massive lion figures crafted completely from flowers at the main entrance. The entry section will feature lotus-designed floral water displays symbolizing national identity and Indian heritage.

AMC targets two additional Guinness World Records

Previous Flower Shows in Ahmedabad have secured two Guinness World Records for the city. This edition sees AMC pursuing two additional international records.

The show will present a floral mandala spanning 30 metres in diameter alongside the world’s biggest flower portrait depicting Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Organizers have created five separate zones for the exhibition, with one zone specifically allocated for these Guinness World Record attempts.

60-foot Samudra Manthan display erected

A grand Samudra Manthan installation, extending 60 feet in length and rising 20 feet high, has been constructed for the event. The display includes seven deities and seven demons, complemented by wave-shaped elements replicating the ocean setting. Symbolic items emerging from the mythical churning, such as the conch shell, vessel and horses, are also part of the presentation.

Furthermore, a Nataraja figure measuring 20 feet in height and 12 feet in width has been positioned at the location. These installations were assembled in workshops before being moved and installed at the venue.

Atal Bridge requires additional ticket

Recreation Committee Chairman Jayesh Trivedi announced the Flower Show will take place during early January. He mentioned that weekend and holiday admission prices have been decreased from ₹150 to ₹100 to attract greater attendance.
