Udaipur IT Firm CEO Allegedly Rapes Manager In Car, Read In Details

Udaipur : Police has arrested three people, including the CEO and the executive head of a private company, along with her husband, for allegedly gang-raping a female employee in a moving car in Udaipur. Action was initiated after the survivor lodged a complaint, following which her statement and medical examination were recorded.

Police are also relying on footage recorded by a webcam installed in a car used during the incident. Based on the evidence collected so far, the company’s CEO Jayesh, his colleague Gaurav, and Gaurav’s wife Shilpa have been arrested. The incident followed a birthday and New Year party hosted by the company’s CEO on December 20 at a hotel in Shobhagpura area.

When the survivor began feeling intoxicated, some attendees suggested dropping her home. However, the female executive allegedly invited her for an after-party. Around 1.45 am, the survivor was seated in a car where the CEO and the executive’s husband were already present. The trio reportedly drove her home, stopped at a shop to purchase smoking material, and made her smoke as well. After smoking, the woman allegedly lost consciousness. When she regained partial awareness later, she found the CEO molesting her.

She alleged that the CEO, the female executive, and her husband sexually assaulted her. Despite repeatedly asking to be taken home, she was dropped only around 5 am, the complaint stated. The survivor reported that when she fully regained consciousness, she found an earring, socks, and undergarments missing, and noticed injuries to her private parts.

Udaipur Superintendent of Police (SP) Yogesh Goyal said, Based on the complaint, a case has been registered against three accused. The accused have been detained and are being interrogated. SP Goyal said further action will be taken following the medical examination report and statements. The CEO, the woman executive head and her husband stopped the car to buy a substance resembling cigarettes from a shop and gave it to the victim.
