Rajasthan : 7 Men Gangraped Woman In Moving Car, Held Captive And Assaulted For 11 Days

New Delhi : A woman in Alwar, Rajasthan, has alleged that she was abducted, gang-raped by a group of seven men and held captive over an 11-day period before being left unconscious on the roadside. The incident began on the night of April 24, when the woman went outside her home to relieve herself. She was allegedly forced into a Bolero vehicle by three men.

The accused reportedly drove her to a location near Paniyala Road, where they took turns raping her inside the vehicle. The woman alleged that she was held captive for 11 days and repeatedly assaulted during that time. She also stated that the accused recorded obscene videos of her and threatened to circulate them on social media if she reported the matter.

I left my house around 9 pm on April 24 to relieve myself. Three men came in a Bolero vehicle and kidnapped me from the spot. They put a gun to my head and threatened to kill me if I informed anyone about the crime. The accused threatened me after a case was filed. They offered Rs 3 lakh to make the matter go away and threatened to kill me if I didn’t accept their offer, the survivor said.

Following the court order, police registered a complaint but made no arrests. The woman, accompanied by family members, later visited the office of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to seek action in the matter.

The investigation has since been handed over to DSP Sunil Kumar Sharma of Ramgarh. Additional Superintendent of Police Tejpal Singh said the FIR has been registered, and further investigation is underway. The woman will undergo a medical examination, and her statement will be recorded before a magistrate. He added that the accused are currently absconding but will be arrested soon.
