Bhuj: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Bhuj, on his ongoing visit to Gujarat after Operation Sindoor. A massive roadshow has begun, covering a 1.5-kilometer stretch from Bhuj Airport to the public meeting venue. As part of the welcome, around 10,000 women dressed in saffron sarees and wearing sindoor are gathered to greet the Prime Minister with traditional fervor.

Following the roadshow, PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for 33 major development projects across the state, with a total outlay of Rs 53,414 crore.

Earlier today, Modi led a saffron-themed roadshow in Vadodara at 10 AM to honor the bravery of the armed forces. He then proceeded to Dahod, where he inaugurated a railway manufacturing plant and several development projects.

In Bhuj, anticipation is high as women in traditional Kutch attire await the Prime Minister’s arrival at the rally venue. Later today, Modi will inaugurate several key infrastructure projects in Gandhidham and surrounding areas, including development works at Mata no Madh temple complex, Khathla Bhawani, and Chachar Kund. He will also launch initiatives such as the transmission system from the Khavda renewable energy zone, a cyclone-resilient underground power distribution network in Gandhidham, a high-speed corridor between Bhuj and Nakhatrana, and the construction of a green hydrogen production facility.

Other projects include three road overbridges in Kandla and tourism infrastructure development at the historic Dholavira site. After concluding his engagements in Bhuj, Modi is expected to fly to Ahmedabad by evening. There, he will lead another roadshow from Ahmedabad Airport to Indira Bridge. The 19-stage route is decorated with national flags and banners reading slogans such as “Salute to the Armed Forces” and “Modiji Has the Nation’s Full Support.”

A dramatic display near Taj Circle features a large cutout of the BrahMos missile, flanked by images of Prime Minister Modi on one side and an Indian Army soldier on the other. Around 50,000 people are expected to line the route in Ahmedabad to witness the event.
