Petrol and Diesel Prices Hiked Again, Third Increase In Just 10 Days

New Delhi : The prices of petrol and diesel have gone up once again, marking the third fuel hike in the last ten days. Petrol prices were increased by 87 paise per litre, while disel became costlier by 91 paise per litre from Saturday morning.

The repeated rise in fuel price has started affecting the common man, especially daily commuters and transport workers. In many cities, people are now paying significantly more for fuel compared to the beginning of the month. The latest increase comes as global crude oil prices continue to remain unstable, prompting oil companies to revise rates.

With transportation costs rising, experts believe the prices of essential goods may also increase in coming days. Trader and vehicle oners have expressed concern over the frequent hikes, saying it is becoming difficult to manage daily expenses.

This is the third fuel price increase within a span of just ten days, raising fears that petrol and diesel rates may climb even further if international oil prices do not ease soon.
