Self-styled Christian prophet Bajinder Singh is at the centre of another controversy as a clip of him getting into an altercation and thrashing a man and a woman has gone viral. The self-styled pastor is again in focus over the video of him slapping people. The footage, purportedly from February 2025, has triggered widespread condemnation, adding to the mounting allegations against him.
Singh can be seen throwing a mobile phone at a man before approaching him and striking him with a purse. He then slaps the man in front of other staff members. The footage further shows Singh attacking a woman who had come to his office with her child.
The viral video surfaced just days after the Kapurthala Police registered an FIR against Singh on charges of sexual harassment, stalking, and criminal intimidation. The complainant, a 22-year-old woman, alleged that Singh had made unwanted advances towards her since she was 17, touched her inappropriately, and even pressured her to marry him despite her being already married.
However, the pastor has denied the allegations, claiming that another pastor plotted a “scandal” against him. Bajinder Singh, the 42-year-old pastor, is the founder and the head of the Church of Glory and Wisdom, which has churches in Jalandhar and New Chandigarh, according to his official website.
