Pakistani Connection In Dhari’s Madrasa: SOG Nabbed Maulana, Pakistani-Afghan WhatsApp Groups Chat Found

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Police is on alert mode after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir. Amreli SOG has started questioning a suspected Maulana, in which as many as seven suspicious groups from Pakistan and Afghanistan were found in his WhatsApp. The police have started investigating in that direction.

According to the information received, during the investigation of illegal immigrants, the SOG had become suspicious of Maulana Mohammad Fazal Abdul Aziz Sheikh, who teaches at a madrasa in Himkhimdipara, Dhari, and asked for his supporting evidences. However, when the Maulana did not present any supporting evidence, the SOG brought him to the Dhari police station and interrogated him. It was revealed that he was originally a resident of Juhapura, Ahmedabad.

The police have registered a case against Maulana Mohammad Fazal Abdul Aziz Sheikh, seized his mobile phone and conducted a thorough investigation into the mobile phone. Out of these, seven groups from Pakistan and Afghanistan have been found, which the police are currently investigating. The investigation into this case is being conducted by SOG PI R.D. Chaudhary.

Amreli District Police Chief Sanjay Kharat said that Maulana was detained and questioned after suspicious activities were noticed. It seems that he has a Pakistani connection, although his investigation is still ongoing. Whether Maulana has a Pakistani connection will come to light after the investigation.
