Ahmedabad – On International Women’s Day, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani reaffirmed his commitment to gender equality, sharing a deeply personal message about the women who shaped his life. Reflecting on his mother, wife Priti Adani, and granddaughters, he expressed his dedication to building a world where women face no barriers in achieving their dreams.

In a social media post, Adani recalled making a silent vow when holding his first granddaughter: “to help build a world where her aspirations know no bounds.” Now, with three granddaughters, this promise has become even more urgent.

Empowering Women Through Adani Foundation Initiatives

He highlighted key initiatives led by the Adani Foundation, including the Butterfly Effect framework and the Lakhpati Didis program, which has empowered over 1,000 women with financial independence. He also recounted a visit to one of his company’s ports, where he noticed the absence of women in leadership roles.
