The Model Zero runs on batteries, not gasoline, making it an electric vehicle. It’s built for one person and can drive up to 322 kilometers on a single charge. When it flies, it can go much farther—up to 1777 kilometers. To keep it safe, the car has special features like backup systems, tools to spot obstacles, the ability to glide if needed, and even a parachute that can lower the whole vehicle in an emergency.
Alef Aeronautics has big plans for the Model Zero. They want to start selling it soon and already have more than 3,000 people signed up to buy one. The company hopes to begin making the cars by 2026. Safety was a top priority during the test. The public road where it happened was closed off, and no one was allowed near the flight path. This made sure the experiment went smoothly without putting anyone at risk.
