New Delhi : Election Commission has informed that now the voters can easily access details about their Assembly constituency candidates educational qualifications and criminal antecedents by making use of ECINET Platform.
In order to check the backgrounds of a particular candidate, the voter can simply download the ECINET app and download the entire affidavit submitted by the candidates. Voters have to simply use the Know Your Candidate feature through which whole bio-data will be revealed of their concerned candidate.
ECINET is the world’s largest electoral service platform that brings all together services in one point by integrating more than 40 apps and portals of the Election Commission. It provides services such as voter registration, electoral roll search, Track Your Applications, e-Epic download, etc and many more solutions in one platform.
Above all, real-time information access and complaint resolution, including tools such as cVIGIL and Saksham are quite useful.
The election commission has declared the schedule for the Assembly elections of Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. A total of 1,955 candidates are in fray for the upcoming elections to the legislative assemblies of Assam, Kerala and puducherry and bye elections in four states that will go to polls on 9th April.
