BrahMos Missile Used In Operation Sindoor Says Yogi Adityanath : Ask Pakistan About Its Power

New Delhi: At the inauguration of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile production unit at the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor in Lucknow, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath confirmed the use of BrahMos missile in Operation Sindoor.

Speaking on terrorism, he remarked that it is like a dog’s tail that never straightens and must be dealt with in its own language. Yogi Adityanath also said the state government has allotted 200 acres of land for the BrahMos project, which will soon begin production in Uttar Pradesh.

Operation Sindoor was initiated in retaliation to the April 22 attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, when terrorists killed 26 people. India launched the operation, specifically targeting key Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The strikes were launched from within Indian airspace with support from Indian Navy assets, making it a joint sea and air operation. As part of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Armed Forces conducted coordinated airstrikes using Rafale jets equipped with SCALP cruise missiles and HAMMER precision-guided munitions, sources said.
