Arvind Kejriwal’s New 7-Star Punjab Sheeshmahal, Alleges BJP

New Delhi : The ‘sheeshmahal’ controversy is back and this time, it has travelled beyond Delhi as the BJP has launched a fresh attack on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal claiming he has been allotted a sprawling new bungalow in Chandigarh. The BJP on Friday revived its ‘sheeshmahal’ attack on Kejriwal, this time claiming the former Delhi Chief Minister has been allotted a “7-star luxury bungalow” in the Punjab capital by the Bhagwant Mann-led government.

The man who pretended to be a common man has had another grand sheeshmahal built. After the Delhi ‘sheeshmahal’ was vacated, Punjab’s Super Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ji has had an even more splendid one constructed,” the Delhi unit of the BJP posted on X. After vacating Delhi’s sheeshmahal, Arvind Kejriwal ji has got an even more luxurious one ready in Punjab. The 2-acre, 7-star government bungalow in Chandigarh’s Sector 2 has been allotted to him.

In a sharp reaction to the BJP’s ‘sheeshmahal’ claim, the AAP hit back, accusing the saffrong party of spreading “bogus claims” about Arvind Kejriwal being allotted a house. Where is the allotment letter? the AAP questioned, dismissing the BJP’s allegations as baseless.

The party said that ever since the Prime Minister’s “fake Yamuna story was exposed,” the BJP has been in “panic mode,” resorting to misinformation. The AAP had then defended the expenditure, calling it a routine government renovation carried out by the PWD, and accused the BJP of twisting facts for political gain.
